outspoken judge from BBC1’s Strictly Come Dancing talking
about his life, his work and his experiences.
Craig escaped from his small town home of Ballarat in the
Australian Goldfields at the age of 15, to become a singer,
a talented dancer and to create his alter ego ‘Lavish’. He
has since had an extraordinary international career ranging
from working as a dancer at the Lido Du in Paris, to
principal singer at the formidable Moulin Rouge and then to
renowned choreographer and TV personality.
Craig has extensive West End credits for shows including
Spend Spend Spend and My One and Only, which gained him
Laurence Olivier nominations for best choreography. In
addition he was associate director/choreographer of West
Side Story, worked with Bob Avian on Martin Guerre, and was
resident director of Miss Saigon.
CRH also directed the opening ceremonies of the Commonwealth
Games in Manchester.
This is an amazing chance to see and hear the highly
personable, multi-talented Craig talking about his biography
'All Glitter and Balls', the recent sell out tour of
Strictly Live, which has filled venues round the UK, which
he also directed, and life in general.
