The stories can be on any subject that inspires you. Unleash your imagination!

The competition is split into three categories:
11 years and under: up to 1000 words
12 – 18 years: up to 1,500 words
Over 18: up to 2000 words.

The writers of the two best stories from each category will be invited to attend the Final of the Peter Wheeler Short Story Competition
on Saturday morning 18th May at Broomy Bank, to hear their stories read out and for the winners of each category to be announced.

There is a cup for the winner of each section and book tokens worth £25 for 11 years and under category, £50 for 12-18 years category and £75 for the Over 18 competition.
